CHARACTERISTICSVESTEROL
® MS 55HSP is a one-component mineral filler for fast repairs. Formulation and colour of the very low-stress. This polymer-modified mortar (PCC) make it especially suitable for rapid repair of concrete, since it replaces corrosion protection, primer coat and repair mortar.
- corrosion resistant
- low-stress
- fast setting
- easy to process
- high-pressure resistant
- high adhesive tensile strength
- class R2 DIN 1504-3
INGREDIENTSStandard cements, mineral aggregates, fillers, HS pozzolans.
USEVESTEROL
® MS 55HSP is suitable for universal outdoor and indoor repairs of wall, ceiling and floor surfaces. Extendable up to grain strength 0,3 mm for levelling surfaces and fixing spalled surfaces up to 50 mm.
Areas of application:
- indoor and outdoor areas
- re-profiling and levelling
- on concrete, plaster, masonry and floor pavement
QUANTITY REQUIREDWith 1 mm layer thickness | 1.25 kg/m2 |
1) With +20 °C and 60 % relative air humidity
PREPARATION OF THE SURFACEThe surface must be clean, firm and free from adhesion-reducing particles such as dust, oil or friable parts. The adhesive tensile strength should be min. 1.5 N/mm
2.
APPLICATION | 1. | Fill a clean mixing container with water. Use 3.2 litres for 20 kg of powder. |
| 2. | Add VESTEROL® MS 55HSP and mix with a mechanical stirrer with approx. 400 rpm until a smooth paste is formed. Mixing time: 2-3 minutes |
| 3. | Processing of the material takes place with a standard application tool such as a spatula or a steel float on dry or slightly damp surfaces within a processing time of approx. 45 minutes. |
| 4. | To achieve optimal adhesion to the substrate, VESTEROL® MS 55HSP is integrated into the substrate as scratch coat using a smoother and sufficient pressure. Alternatively, VESTEROL® MS 55HSP is mixed to form an adhesive slurry and brushed intensively with a brush or wide brush. To achieve a slurry consistency: stir approx. 0.2 l water (2%) into the readily mixed sealing putty. Then the desired layer is constructed. |
| 5. | Clean tools with water after use. After hardening the material can only be removed mechanically. |
IMPORTANT NOTES- Observe the processing temperature from +5 °C to +30 °C.
- Setting material should neither be diluted with water nor mixed with fresh mortar.
- Protect material against drying out too rapidly and unfavourable weather conditions. Avoid draft and direct solar radiation.
- Adding more water leads to increased shrinkage and loss of hardness.
- Observe (keep to) a mixing time of at least 2 minutes
SAFETY PROVISIONS/RECOMMENDATIONSContains cement; alkaline reaction with moisture/water. Please gather further information on safety during transport, storage and handling from the current material safety data sheet.
DISPOSALThe local waste removal regulations must be observed.
