CHARACTERISTICS
IMBERAL® Multidrain 89V is a polystyrene (HIPS) bobbled sheet with reverse sided pressure distributing film laminated with a pressure stable nonwoven filter medium.
IMBERAL® Multidrain 89V retains its dimensional stability and drainage capacity for many years.

    USE
    IMBERAL® Multidrain 89V for protection and for drainage of building structures in direct contact with the ground, which have been treated with thick bitumen coatings or other forms of dampproofing. According to DIN 18533.
    Used as a protective drainage mat under screed and concrete.

      PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE
      Thick bitumen coatings, mineral sealing slurries or other dampproofing products must be dry and completely hardened.

        APPLICATION
        1.Cut the IMBERAL® Multidrain 89V from the roll to the exact dimensions and fix with collar dowels or similar. Secure and protect the top edge of sheet.
        2.Always push the next length of sheet under the edge of the nonwoven medium when overlapping.
        3.Cut into the outer edge of the filter medium and seal the open sheet edges with adhesive tape. For inside corners the IMBERAL® Multidrain 89V only needs to be folded.
        4.At the bottom, the sheet should end right up against the drain pipe in the gravel packing
        5.Cut out shape with a cutting knife as required to fit round cellar shafts.
        6.After completing the work, secure and protect the edges of the IMBERAL® Multidrain 89V sheets.
        7.With the foundation trench still open during building work, weigh down the drainage sheet in the bottom area with drainage gravel.

        IMPORTANT NOTES
        • IMBERAL® Multidrain 89V is groundwater neutral
        • Drainage according to DIN 4095.
        • IMBERAL® Multidrain 89V must as a rule be retained mechanically
