CHARACTERISTICS
DAKORIT® Bituflex 20B is a viscous, easy-to-apply, elastomer-enriched bitumen rubber emulsion.
It adheres well to all common building materials, is resistant to flying sparks, radiant heat and is not harmful if it enters the groundwater.
DAKORIT® Bituflex 20B is highly resistant to UV radiation and ageing. It is resistant to de-icing salts and aggressive substances usually found in the ground.

    USE
    DAKORIT® Bituflex 20B is used for protecting and renewing bitumen roofs and fibre reinforced cement tiles.
    It is suitable for dampproofing structures in areas in direct contact with the ground and is also used as an asphalt cold mastic for sealing asphalt surfaces.

    • Masonry and concrete in contact with the ground
    • Bitumen polymer roofing sheets
    • Fiber-reinforced cement tiles
    • Balconies and floor slabs under screeds
    • Sealing flat roofs

      1) At +20 °C and 60 % relative humidity.PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE
      The substrate must be clean, sound and smooth. Remove dirt deposits with a steam jet or mechanically.

        APPLICATION
        1.As an undercoat, dilute the product by 20% with water.
        2.Apply DAKORIT® Bituflex 20B with a roller, roofer’s brush, wide wall brush or with Peristaltikpumpe PP 99 as an airless spray.
        3.In asphalt engineering, the product can also be applied using an application wagon provided with a rubber wiper.
        4.Clean tools with water immediately after use.


        In particularly highly stressed zones, or zones that are particularly susceptible to the danger of cracking, apply DAKORIT® Bituflex 20B at least twice, and in the first coat, embed DAKORIT® DV110 89V (e.g. the zone between the high and low water levels or roof surfaces without a slope).IMPORTANT NOTES
        • Observe a working temperature of +5 °C to +35 °C.
        • Protect DAKORIT® Bituflex 20B from rain while drying.
        • Fresh material can be removed with water.
        • High humidity and low temperatures extend the drying times.
        • Avoid water load caused by water getting behind the coating (water pressure from behind).

        Wear suitable protective clothing.
