® PUR1K 30P is a ready-to-use, roof sealant to be applied in liquid form. In combination with air humidity the coating dries into an elastic, vapour permeable, crack bridging and weather resistant roof skin.

USEDAKORIT
® PUR1K 30P is applied in connection with a fleece reinforcing core for renovating and waterproofing flat roofs and in particular in adjoining areas. Suitable are almost all substrates such as: Bitumen sheeting, polymeric waterproofing sheets (after previous checking), concrete and screed as well as metals.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACEThe substrate must be dry, clean, have a capacity to bear load, and be clean and free of adhesion-reducing substances. Close larger cracks with DAKORIT
® ES 40B. Heat-seal open overlap joints of bitumen sheeting or glue with DAKORIT
® ES 40B. With foil roofs, check the compatibility beforehand. Pre-treat absorbent mineral substrates with DAKORIT
® PUR1K 30P diluted with water of 2 : 1 with HADALAN
® EPV 38L. Coating can take place after > 6 < 24 h. Alternatively, absorbent substrates may be primed with HADALAN
® HV Uni 30DD. Here, the coating can be applied after an airing time of 20 minutes.
The following sheeting material must be pre-treated with HADALAN
® HV Uni 30DD before starting the coating work.

On substrates not listed here, carry out a preliminary test. Please talk to our application technology department.
APPLICATIONStir the product well before applying.
| 1. | Metal connection plates, cap flashings, penetrations and metal covers (iron, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, zinc) as well as various plastics should be primed with HADALAN® HV Uni 30DD bonding agent (see technical data sheet). The primed surface can then be coated after 20 minutes drying time. |
| 2. | First spread about 1.5 kg/m2 of DAKORIT® PUR1K 30P with a rubber wiper, section by section, and then roll on evenly with a wool roller. Be sure to apply enough of the product so as to be able to properly bed in the non-woven fabric. |
| 3. | Embed DAKORIT® DV110 89V, without creasing, into the fresh coating. Allow an overlap of at least 5 cm on the non-woven fabric lengths. To protect the fabric lengths from rain or condensation, roll a thin coat over them immediately after bedding them in. |
| 4. | After the first coat has completely dried, apply the final coat, again using approx. 1.5 kg/m2 of DAKORIT® PUR1K 30P. |
By adding the reaction accelerator DAKORIT
® Speed Up you can considerably speed up the setting process. Please refer to the relevant data sheet.
IMPORTANT NOTES- Maintain a working temperature of +5 °C to +30 °C.
- Protect DAKORIT® PUR1K 30P from rain while drying.
- DAKORIT® PUR1K 30P is not suitable as sealing below extensive vegetation.
- Do not apply the product during periods of high condensing humidity.
- Clean tools after use with HADALAN® EPV 38L. Completely hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
- Packs which have been reclosed can only be kept for a limited period of time.
- DAKORIT® PUR1K 30P contains solvent which may cause odour nuisance during application and until it is completely dry.
- Take appropriate precautionary measures.
