CHARACTERISTICSHADALAN
® BM1K 32P is a 1-component elastic and light-resistant polyurethane resin. It hardens with the atmospheric humidity and there results a bonding agent film with very good weathering resistance and abrasion resistance.
- High elasticity
- Open to diffusion
- Crack-bridging
- Light-resistant
- Transparent
INGREDIENTSPolyurethane resin, solvent, auxiliary materials
USEHADALAN
® BM1K 32P is added to natural stones or decorative quartz and this results in light-resistant, visco-plastic, abrasion resistant decoration linings for balconies and terraces, for slip-resistant construction of stairs and plat-forms in the outdoors.
Areas of application:
- Balcony and terrace surfaces
- Access walkways, outdoors stairs
- Concrete and screed surfaces
- Cladding

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACEHADALAN
® DS91 13P is used as substrate for spatula-applied coverings. The correct coating intervals must be adhered to. Before starting the coating work, the surface of the sealing layer coat must be free of dust and dry.
APPLICATION | 1. | The desired colour mixture of natural stones or decorative quartz is mixed with 6 - 8 % (depending on grain size) HADALAN® BM1K 32P. To do so, the bonding agent is mixed intensely with the granulation with a slow-rotating stirrer and agitator (approx. 400 rpm). Then, the mixing material is refilled and once again stirred briefly. |
| 2. | At the same time, an adhesive and gluing layer of HADALAN® BM1K 32P is coated on the existing, dry waterproofing. The coating is applied with a mohair roller. |
| 3. | On the fresh adhesive layer, the mixture substances are distributed coarsely with a trowel and then compressed and evened with a smoothing trowel. If natural stones are being used, the middle coat thick- ness is about 8 - 10 mm. |
| 4. | To simplify the smoothing work, the tools are cleaned at short intervals with HADALAN® EPV 38L. |
| 5. | The surfaces can be carefully walked upon on the next day. They are capable of taking the full load after approx. 7 days. |
| 6. | The cleaning of the operating equipment can be done in the fresh state, just after use, with HADALAN® EPV 38L. After the hardening is complete, cleaning is only possible mechanically. |
| 7. | For cleaning and care, see the care instructions for HADALAN® natural stone linings. |
IMPORTANT NOTES- Maintain the processing temperature of +8 °C to +30 °C.
- HADALAN® BM1K 32P is humidity-reactive. Therefore, these materials must be protected from humidity till they are completely hardened. The substrate to be coated must be dry on the surface.
- High temperatures accelerate and low temperatures delay the progress of hardening.
- Adhere to the coating intervals.
- Comply with the usage specifications. Deviations can result in shading in the surface.
- Use HADALAN® EPV 38L exclusively as a thinner and cleaner.
- The substrate temperature must be at least 3 °C above the dew point temperature.
SAFETY PROVISIONS/RECOMMENDATIONSInformation regarding the safety during transport, storage and handling are included in the updated safety data sheet.
