CHARACTERISTICSHADALAN
® FGM003 57M is a special raw material combination with a high packing density. This combination provides good self-levelling properties and high mechanical load capacity in conjunction with suitably matched epoxy resins.
- Easy mixing
- Enables good flow behaviour
- High mechanical load capacity
- Low requirement for binder
- Dust reduced
INGREDIENTSMineral fillers, additives
USEHADALAN
® FGM003 57M allows the production of pourable rough surface levelling, inexpensive and high quality primers as well as self-levelling materials in conjunction with hahne epoxy resins.
In association with HADALAN
® EBG 13E, especially suitable for the production of vapour damp open scratch and levelling coatings.
QUANTITY REQUIREDAccording to the applications
PREPARATION OF THE SURFACEThe substrates must be firm, load bearing, free of frost, dust, dirt and other loose particles. The residual moisture depends on the resin system to be applied.
APPLICATIONApplication with HADALAN
® EBG 13E:
To produce vapour damp open levelling compounds in association with HADALAN
® EBG 13E, add HADALAN
® FGM003 57M to the mixed HADALAN
® EBG 13E according following ratio and mix homogeneously.
Scratching coatings for coating thicknesses of 1 - 3 mm:
8,5 kg bonding agent + 20 kg -FGM003 57M
Levelling and self-levelling compounds for coating thicknesses of 3 - 8 mm:
8,5 kg bonding agent + 40 kg -FGM003 57M
Self-compacting filling compounds:
8,5 kg bonding agent + 60 kg -FGM003 57M
The compounds viscosity to be corrected according to the temperature and underground through a water addition of max. 5 % in relation to HADALAN
® EBG 13E.
Clean working equipment immediately after use with water. Material that has
hardened completely can only be removed mechanically.
IMPORTANT NOTES- Epoxy resins react exothermically. High temperatures accelerate and low temperatures slow the setting process.
- To avoid any risk of moisture penetration though the backing, apply HADALAN® EG145 13E.
- The surface temperature must be at least 3 °C above the dew point.
- The maximum filling degree and the hardening times depend on the coating thickness and the epoxy resin to be applied upon.
- In the case of connected surfaces without recovering, please only use material with the same lot number.
SAFETY PROVISIONS/RECOMMENDATIONSThe usual health and safety measures for handling chemicals are to be observed. Suitable protective clothing should be worn.
DISPOSALThe local waste removal regulations must be observed.
APPLICATION- Stir HADALAN® EPUni 12E /HADALAN® EG145 13Ewith a slow-rotating drilling machine, pour it in another container and briefly stir it again. Next, add HADALAN® FGM003 57M in the desired mixing ratio.
Reference values:
Mixing ratio 1 : 1 to 1 : 2 parts by weight for making pore-closing primers
Mixing ratio 1 : 3 parts by weight for roughness depth evening up to 2 mm
Mixing ratio 1 : 4 parts by weight for roughness depth evening up to 5 mm
Mixing ratio 1 : 5 parts by weight for roughness depth evening > 5 mm
The application and distribution of the compounds can be done with a roller (only for mixing ratio 1 : 1 to 1 : 2 ), rubber wiper or smoother. With mixing ratios > 1 : 3, pre-priming must first be done with the epoxy resin that is being used, in unfilled setting.
- Epoxy resins react exothermically. Therefore, the stirred compounds must be processed without delay. The processing time depends on the respective mixing ratio and the ambient temperatures. Depending on the conditions, a processing time of 20 to 45 minutes is available.
- The levelling compound is poured out uniformly on the substrate and ideally, distributed using the 56 cm trowel and the fine serrated trowel.
After 10 to 15 minutes, the compound is ventilated with a spiked roller. - In the fresh state, the tools can be cleaned with HADALAN® EPV 38L; once dry, they can only be cleaned mechanically.
