1. | As a primer, the relevant resin is mixed and applied on the substrate. The mortar is applied on the fresh primer coat and compacted. If this is not possible, then the primer coat must be sprinkled with Quartz051 57M. The sand which remains on the surface must then be swept off. HADALAN® EBG 13E however can only be applied “fresh on fresh”: it is not possible to sprinkle with sand.
2. | Mix HADALAN® MBH 12E or -EBG 13E with a slow-running power drill, re-pot and briefly stir through again. Then add HADALAN® FGM035 57M at the desired (correct) mixing ratio and mix in well with a sturdy rotary stirrer and a large basket-type stirrer. The mixing process is complete when the filler and the epoxy resin are homogeneously blended together Checking with a trowel during the process will help to determine this.
3. | Epoxy resins react exothermically. Therefore you should use the mix quickly. The working time depends on the particular mixing ratio and the ambient temperatures. Depending on the conditions you have a working time of 20 to 45 minutes available to you.
4. | After using HADALAN® MBH 12E tools can be cleaned (when still wet) with HADALAN® EPV 38L and after using HADALAN® EBG 13E (when still wet) with water. When they have dried off they can only be cleaned mechanically. |
