USE
HADALAN^® DQ0712 89M is used together with the relevant HADALAN^® binder to produce decorative coatings applied with a trowel or for scatter coverings, both indoors and outdoors.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE
The substrate must be capable of bearing a load, surface-dry and free of dirt, dust, residues of detergents or other substances which limit adhesion.
In the case of severe changes in temperature together with increased levels of humidity there is a danger that condensation could form on the substrate.
Before starting to apply the coating therefore, any film of water must have completely dried out.

APPLICATION

	1.	Scatter surfaces Apply HADALAN® PUR Top 32P transparent as an adhesive layer.
	2.	Sprinkle (scatter) HADALAN® DQ0712 89M section by section, using more than you actually need (in other words, using a surplus amount of material), directly on to the fresh adhesive layer which you have just applied. Make sure that you cover the complete area.
	3.	On the next day brush off or suck off any surplus quartz which has not bonded. Then apply HADALAN® Pur Top 32P with a mohair roller.
	1.	Trowel surfaces: Pre-coat the surface with HADALAN® PUR Top 32P transparent. Lightly scatter (sprinkle) oven-dried Quartz051 57M into the still-fresh coating. This coating must dry because it ensures that the following trowelling working will have sufficient grip.
	2.	Add 6% of HADALAN® LF68 12P to the HADALAN® DQ0712 89M and mix thoroughly using a slow-running drilling machine. Then transfer to a clean container and briefly stir through again.
	3.	With a trowel, spread the mixture, section by section, and then compact it with a smoothing trowel.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Make sure you follow our application instructions or the relevant technical data sheets.
• If you are treating an area which needs to look identical from an optical point of view, then make sure you use decorative quartz from the same batch. If you use different batches there could be some differences in the shade.
