CHARACTERISTICS
INTRASIT® Aquarol 10A is a primer that acts chemically and physically, and was specially designed to meet the high requirements of state-of-the-art repair technology. Due
to its liquid consistency, it can be applied very easily and quickly.
  • Binds adhering dust (abraded particles, cement dust and quartz dust) to the surface of mineral building materials
  • Strengthens building material surfaces by means of silicate compounds and forms a load-bearing base for subsequent coatings
  • Reduces the substrate absorbency by waterproofing the surface zone
  • Good penetration due to a special combination of nano-scale active ingredients
  • Reduces the penetration of salt close to the surface zone
  • Sulphate-resistant

    USE
    INTRASIT® Aquarol 10A is part of the Quick & Easy repair system product family and is also used as a primer below flexible sealing slurries such as INTRASIT® Poly-C1 54Z . For surface reinforcement and waterproofing INTRASIT® RZ2 55HSP.

    Areas of application:

    • Dry and slightly humid, absorbent, mineral substrates
    • Horizontal and vertical surfaces

      PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE
      Substrates must be absorbent, firm, sound, and free of any loose debris.
      The substrate may be slightly damp. Remove any residues and dirt.

        APPLICATION
        1.INTRASIT® Aquarol 10A is ready to use and applied undiluted by brushing, rolling or spraying it onto the substrate. On very dusty surfaces, we recommend applying the product with a brush or broom to bind the dust well.
        2.If the Quick & Easy repair system is used, the next system product can be applied after a waiting time of about 10 minutes. Flexible sealing slurries can be applied immediately after the primer is nearly dry.
        Longer drying times have no effect on the adhesion properties of the subsequent coating. However, be sure to protect the substrate from dust until an overcoat is applied.
        3.Clean tools (sprayers) with water immediately after use.

        IMPORTANT NOTES
        • Protect building parts in the immediate vicinity from splashes and spray mist.
        • Do not apply on substrates which are saturated with water.

        SAFETY PROVISIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS
        This is an alkaline product. Observe the usual hygiene procedures and precautionary measures when handling chemical products. If the product comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with copious quantities of water and seek medical advice. Wear suitable work protection clothing.
