CHARACTERISTICSVESTEROL
® Kontakt 10D is a saponification-resistant synthetic resin dispersion containing granular fillers and adhesive additives.
The dried film creates an excellent bond even on extremely dense and smooth mineral substrates. It also provides an adhesive surface and exceptionally strong anchorage for subsequent plaster layers thanks to the cubic grains in the aggregates used.
It reduces and balances the substrate’s absorbency and prevents rapid dehydration and cracking of plaster layers.
It prevents damaging ettringit formation from gypsum plaster on fresh concrete substrates and covers minor release agent residues.
- Adhesion-active
- Surface stabiliser
- Saponification-resistant
- Provides a rough substrate for plaster application
INGREDIENTSPlastic dispersion, fillers, granulates, pigments
USEVESTEROL
® Kontakt 10D is used to improve the adhesion of problematic substrates fur subsequent layers of gypsum, lime and cement-based plasters. For stabilising, sanding and dusting surfaces.
Areas of application:
- Outdoors and indoors
- Fresh concrete surfaces
- Very high-density and smooth precast concrete elements
- Highly absorbent substrates, building materials (aerated concrete)
- Impregnated and painted surfaces
QUANTITY REQUIREDDepending on the substrate | 0.25 kg/m2 |
1) At +20 °C and 60 % relative atmospheric humidity.
APPLICATION | 1. | Depending on the absorbency of the substrate, dilute VESTEROL® Kontakt 10D with up to 20 % of water. |
| 2. | The product is applied with a roller or wide brush. |
| 3. | Clean all processing equipment with water immediately after use. |
IMPORTANT NOTES- Maintain the processing temperature at +5 °C to +35 °C.
- Plaster can be applied after VESTEROL® Kontakt 10D has fully dried out.
- On plaster with low binding-agent content, carry out a preliminary test.
- Not to be used in areas exposed to continuous moisture.
