Polyurethane inject resin for shrinkage-free grouting of cracks
CHARACTERISTICS
INTRASIT® PU-Injekt 12P is a two-component low-viscosity polyurethane resin that stabilizes and protects against corrosion. When it comes into contact or is mixed with water, it builds up a uniform pore structure which is water-tight and increases the material’s extension capacity.

INGREDIENTS

    USE
    INTRASIT® PU-Injekt 12P is used for grouting cracks in all mineral building materials.
    Suitable for waterproofing tunnel constructions and for stabilizing brittle masonry structures.

    Areas of application:

    • Cracks in concrete and masonry
    • Sealing of injection hoses
    • Horizontal damp courses

      1) for +20°C and 60 % relative humidityPREPARATION OF THE SURFACE
      Substrates must be sound and free of frost, oil, grease and dust. Identify the crack path propagation to determine the arrangement of the drill holes. Inject water into cracks that are dry. Grout the crack surface, if required.

        APPLICATION
        1.Mix component A and B by stirring it with a drilling machine with attached agitator; use a suitable container for mixing. Mix well to ensure a homogenous mixture. Stirring time will be at least 2 minutes.
        2.INTRASIT® PU-Injekt 12P is usually injected by the pressure method using a hand-lever press or a suitable injection pump system.
        3.Install injection packers in a distance of about 5 - 7 cm alternatingly left and right of the crack path.
        4.Seal the surface of the crack path with hahne’s rapid-setting installation mortar INTRASIT® Rasant 55Z.
        5.INTRASIT® PU-Injekt 12P within 1.5 hours after mixing.
        6.Clean all the work equipment immediately after use with HADALAN® EPV 38L.


        INTRASIT® PU-Injekt 12P hardens without shrinking. Re-injection of the crack structure is not required.IMPORTANT NOTES
        • Do not use at temperatures below +5 °C.
        • Use HADALAN® MBH 12E to create for making frictional connections.
        • Read the WTA information sheets.
        • Stop running water by injecting INTRASIT® PU-Aquastop 11P.
        • Bituminous coatings, synthetic felts or bitumen- rubber felts will not be damaged by INTRASIT® PU-Injekt 12P.
        • Steel and iron will not be corroded by polyurethane resin, which protects these materials against corrosion.
