CHARACTERISTICSINTRASIT
® BLS 54TR is a mineral filling mortar that hardens without shrinking and provides good flow characteristics and high permeability for injection liquids injected into existing brickwork.
It is resistant to water-soluble sulfates which are commonly found in masonry.
Due to its small grain size, it can be pumped with suitable pumping equipment.
- Free-flowing
- Non-shrinking
- Sulphate-resistant
- Easy to re-drill
- Permits diffusion
INGREDIENTSStandard cements, mineral aggregates, swelling agents, synthetic dispersion powder
USEINTRASIT
® BLS 54TR is used to fill cavities and drill-holes when sealing the interior of old cellars with chemical horizontal damp courses.
Areas of application:
- Outdoors and indoors
- Masonry
QUANTITY REQUIREDPer litre cavity volume | approx. 1.8 kg |
1) At +20 °C and 60 % relative atmospheric humidity.
APPLICATIONThe guideline is DIN 1053 for masonry design and construction.
| 1. | Slowly add INTRASIT® BLS 54TR to clear water in a clean mixing container while stirring it well until it becomes a homogenous, free-flowing paste that contains no lumps.
Recommended mixing ratio:
25 kg INTRASIT® BLS 54TR : 8.5 litres of water |
| 2. | Use a funnel to pour the product into the existing drill holes within 45 minutes. |
| 3. | Alternatively, INTRASIT® BLS 54TR can be injected with the aid of suitable pumping equipment. In this case, note the maximum grain size (max. 0.5 mm). |
| 4. | Wait at least 2 days before re-drilling the area. |
| 5. | Injecting the product with INTRASIT® VK 10A, INTRASIT® MEK 18OS or INTRASIT® BLK 18OS. |
| 6. | After allowing the injection fluids to seep in continuously, mix INTRASIT® BLS 54TR with water to create a smooth paste.
Recommended mixing ratio:
25 kg -BLS 54TR : 7.5 litres of water |
| 7. | Then fill the drill holes with the prepared paste and smooth flush to the wall. |
| 8. | Wash all processing equipment with clean water immediately after use. |
When applying the produce at low temperatures, high air humidity or to damp masonry, you can accelerate the hardening process by adding a maximum of 5 % INTRASIT
® Rasant 55Z.
IMPORTANT NOTES- Not suitable for injection into cracks.
SAFETY PROVISIONS/RECOMMENDATIONSContains cement and will cause alkaline reactions when it comes into contact with moisture or water.
Information regarding the safety during transport, storage and handling are included in the updated safety data sheet.
DISPOSALThe local waste removal regulations must be observed.
